Additional Details

For the first half of each workshop series, students will be outdoors, either taking photographs or sketching. After around 5 weeks, students will translate the images and designs they've created outside, onto the computer using Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop. The remaining lessons will give students the tools they need to enhance, reproduce, or recreate their artwork digitally.  At the end of the workshop, students will have the opportunity to share what they've created with their friends, family, and community through a My Wildhood Art Exhibit. My Wildhood covers the cost of printing and framing each piece of artwork for the exhibit. For the Nature Animation Workshop, the structure will be a bit different, however there will a Mini Film Festival on the last day of the workshop, where students will be able to showcase their short films!

We hope that through our workshops, youth gain the confidence to be creative and try new things, both inside and out!
